As stewards of our local environment and community, L.A.M.B (Learning Applied Money Basics) has adopted the # 8 and #9 shorelines at Bachman Lake, across the street from our financial learning facility. And now we invite you to roll up your sleeves, come in your most comfortable work clothes, and join us in a day of meaningful action, camaraderie, and care for one of Dallas’s most cherished natural resources.Why Bachman Lake Needs Us
Nestled in the heart of our vibrant city, Bachman Lake is a haven for wildlife, a peaceful retreat for families, and a favorite spot for joggers, picnickers, and nature lovers alike. However, to keep it welcoming and healthy for everyone, it needs our help. Litter and environmental wear and tear not only mar its beauty but also pose threats to the wildlife that calls it home and the community that cherishes it.What We Do
Every month, volunteers from across Dallas come together for our “Shoreline Spruce-Up” event to collect litter and maintain trails around Bachman Lake.
